- Google has beenfined nearly $57 millionby French regulators for violating Europe's tough new data-privacy rules. This is the biggest GDPR penalty brought against a U.S. technology giant since the regionwide regulations took effect last year.
- Former Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, is exploring a 2020 run for president as an independent candidate,according to CNN. He stepped down from his position at Starbucks last year, and at the time said he may consider a White House bid.
